Personality
Ruka, now a shadow of the man he once was, is quiet and will speak only when he feels like it. He's reluctant to do what he's told and disregards the rule completely at times. It's almost as if he's become someone else though he's in the same body. He thinks about things constantly and has all of his old memories though he rarely talks or makes contact with people unless it suits him. Ruka still has a thing for the younger boys, but that probably will never change. As part of the Depersonalization disorder, he no longer enjoys company around him and would prefer to be alone than around a large mass of people, or even a few.

History:
Ruka was once a doctor here at the asylum, but his patients and several different factors caused him to leave, and in a way drove him back to madness. As a child he saw a therapist because he believed that there were actually two of him. One side a nice kind person who wanted to make everyone happy. On the other a brutal maniac that doesn't give two shits about human life. He often fought with these personalities, but mostly to himself rather than out loud.

Ruka maintained his sane appearance for a long time by taking antipsychotics and drugs to reduce the effects of his schizophrenia.

After resigning from his position as Doctor, Ruka went home to an empty house. He refused to take his medication, and sank more and more into one of his disorders. The police followed a trail of dead boys between the ages of 12 and 17 and managed to catch Ruka during his 7th attempted murder. He never used a weapon, just his bare hands. The lawyer that was given to him suggested that he plead insanity, and because of that he ended up where he started, right back at 304.

Since then he's escaped and is living his life like a real person, just a bit differently.
